Busy Month

Well its that time again to update the calander and see what is happening in Oct. I am going to blink and it is going to be November. This week is homecoming for the kids at school. So they are all getting ready for the many days that are coming up this week. My fav being Spririt day which falls on picture day. That is awesome. Walmart photo lab here we come. Monday night Jeremy and I are going to WWE Raw. Friday night we are going to the homecoming game. Next week I leave for a financial worker conference in Duluth on Wednesday and we stay until Friday, in which we will meet Jeremy in Milaca and we head up to the camper to close that up for the weekend. And then get together with some of his lake state buddies. Always a good time. I think so far the week of the 12th we get to just let that week slide by. Nothing on the calander yet, hopefully we can keep it that way. The next week on Tuesday me and Kelli go to the New Kids on the Block concert. Stop pretending that we are dumb, you know your jealous. Thursday we are having Jacks birthday party, and Friday Jeremy and I leave for a weekend by ourselves for our our 6 year anniversary. Then its Halloween and then wow its November. Time flys when your having fun. See you in November!

Finally!!

After trying for months now to win the flashback on KDWB, today Jeremy and I were winners!!! Yeah!!! What did we win, well, let me tell you! We won a High School Musical DVD (extended dance version) and a chance to go to the premeire. AND we won tickets to Monday nights WWE Raw. I was super nervous on the phone, went into my 12 year old nervous laugh. I love winning stuff. See listening to that radio station for 15 years pays off!

Evil

Well I got my arse on that nasty machine. Ok, I guess if it hadnt been 2 months since I was last on it, it probably would be nasty. But wow. I did make it a mile. I again will make it up to 2 1/2. In case your wondering why I chose 2 1/2 I will tell you. I know I can always fit in a half an hour of working out. Would I love to be able to fit in a 2 hours work out at the gym, yep. Will I ever be able to, nope. In the past I will try these diets that are extreme, workouts that are long. But sooner or later life gets in the way. So this time I am trying to make small changes that I can actually stick with. Is the weight loss slower? Yep. But I would like it to last this time, so I am going with Slow and steady wins the race. And so far the best advice/encouragement came from Jeremy. I came home a little disappointed after only losing 1 lb one week, I had worked my butt off, ate great, and one frickin lb???? He looked at me and said, honey if you lost one lb a week for one year, that is 52 lbs in a year. Slow and steady, it wins the race. So now I just focus on how good my clothes feel, and how good I feel! Have a great Saturday all!

Dear Computer

Finally!!

Well something is wrong with our stupid computer, it wont upload pictures. So This blog is not as exciting as I think it is. But we finally got the computer out of our bedroom! (Yes the problem started after that.) And we are computer idiots...so it may be a while for more pictures to be posted.

But we do finally have a computer room (with a stupid computer). It is cool. We also have an eliptical in here now, so I can get back on there and work myself back up to 2 1/2 miles on that thing. Its a love hate relationship, I love to hate it, but I do love to get a 2 1/2 mile work out in, in about 20 min's to a half hour.

I had set my goal to lose 30 lbs by Oct, I was down 23, however, that last few weeks of summer kicked my arse and I am up 3. But back to the weight watchers meeting Thurs night and my arse back on the eliptical and I will be back on my way. So maybe I will need to bump it out to Nov to hit that 30.

Alright, I am off. I will let you know how far I get on the eliptical tomorrow, I am hoping I can do a mile before Jeremy has to call 911. (I wonder if we get an employee discount?)

Weekend

This weekend went super fast AGAIN. I can not believe how time flys. We watched Madi on Saturday for Mel while she worked. And then Mel found our her good friend Tiff had her baby, so she ran and pinched cheeks before going home. Again... If Madi could be any better of a baby!! Saturday night we were invited out, but the amount of money that I sent to school this week did not allow for that to happen and still be able to live this week. 4 homecoming t-shirts, lunch money ($50.00 sent to the school does not last long with 3 kids eating), and school pictures this week already. Man. Oh well. We set up bunk beds in Josh's room. Thanks Grandpa!! Jack now gets to sleep upstairs with Josh. We will eventually make Jacks room into a office, eliptical room. But I am just taking my time to make sure the two boys can be in a room together. No big hurry.

Sunday I had Nick and Madi here while Dave and Mel enjoyed a day at the Vikings game. It is amazing how fast you get out of two year mode. That kid is fast. I would set Madi down to change her diaper and Nick would be out the door in the sand box. Now to be far to Nick when he is here, him and Jack ususaly spend ALL day out side in the sand box. Its what they love to do. So coming to my house and not being able to do it has to be disappointing. But fun day was had by all. (I hope)

Well off to bed. Time to start a new week. Happy Monday people!

Second week of school, Done.

Yesterday I sat at work and had a weird feeling all day that I was going to get a call from the school that Izzy had broke her arm.........dramatic, yes I know. But it was a nagging feeling and it lasted all day. Even during interviews, when my phone would ring I would peek over to make sure. This all day, every day, school thing is kicking her butt. For those of you who know her and her energy, this kid will go all day. But she barely makes it through supper. She has been in bed by 7:30 just about ever night. She made it to 8 Wednesday, but only case Molly was there playing with her. Today I think the only reason I got her out of bed was because I promised she could sleep in tommorow....good luck Iz, Nick and Madi will be there by 8. But I guess 8 is later the 6.
Amanda is doing well, she is happy that her Math class is going well for her this year. She seems to get it more then the last couple of years. (She is in a intergrated, ie-smart kid class, didnt get it from me). She is really getting good at flute. SSSOOO ready for drumline to start.
Josh is doing GREAT. I am so impressed with him. His reading is just cominig along nicely. Now we are just working on his confidence. I think he is the only one who doesnt see how far he's come. When he has a questions he almost starts to cry because he is so frustrated. So we are really working on pumping him up, getting that confidence up.
Now.....I got a picture message last night at about 9:30. It was a picture of my neice Ky with a sling on her arm...............please refer to the beginning of my message and my bad feeling from yesterday...........Kyleah broke her arm yesterday playing on the school playground.........gotta go, I feel some numbers coming into my head and I have to run to holiday and get a lottery ticket.

Things I did during the Vikings game.

Ten Things I did while the Viking Played.
1-read my weight watchers magizine
2-recorded what I ate for the last 3 days, anyone know the points for 10 screw drivers.
3-tickled toes of the kids while they hid under the covers from the tickle monster.
4-cooked supper.
5-did the dishes
6-gave the kids a wash cloth bath.
7-made our beds.
8-read Izzy a story.
9-talked to Kelli on the phone
10-updated my blog!

All in all a very successful evening.

15 years!!!

Seriously???

This weekend was a blast. Friday night we had the pleasure of watching Madi. Oh my that little girl is just sooooo cute. And good. Mel and Dave took Nick to the football game, and I fully took advantage in saying "oh its to cold for a baby to be at the football game" it worked. They dropped her off and we played and played, she stayed overnight. I have to say, She was here from Friday night till Saturday afternoon, the kid cried once. Oh she is good.

Saturday night was Jeremy's 15 year class reunion. We were laughing at two thoughts of the evening. One, Jeremy and his non forgetting memory can remember just about every detail from his high schools years, so how can it be 15 years.......and two, who in the heck would of EVER thought we would roll up to our 15 year in a mini van???? Odd. Maybe for our 20 we can have a "cool car". But what a fun time, I must clarify.......Jeremy had to work the next day, so.... I...... taking one for the team, enjoyed myself. I am pretty sure that I will not get sick this winter at ALL. I was drinking screwdrivers, and I know that I had enough vitiman C to keep me well all winter long. It was very cool to see everyone on Saturday night. How come is it that you dont realize how much you miss seeing people until you see them......I sure wish we lived closer to the Westling family, as I think they would be fun to hang out with more often. :)

Even with the fun night had Saturday, I still managed to be up, go get Izzy at Grandma's, get the kids ready and have them to church for Rally Sunday. (yes I did take a nap on Sunday afternoon)

Vikings vs Packers....tonight.....

Trees

If you look really close, you can see Jack is in the tree. About half way up. Below is the close up. Little monkely butt. Man does he look like Josh in that picture from afar. But if you click on the pictures, you can see Jack.

Addition to the Family

Well here she is. The newest addition to our family. In a moment of parenting weakness, we agreed to something we thought would never happen. And yet it did. But I tell you what. This is one good dog. As all babies, she does not quite sleep through the night yet, but we are hopeing that come soon. Other then that, not an accident in the house yet, and a really good personality. So in not planning on getting another animal, it was, as was all our suprises in our lives, a really good addition to our family.

Halloween

The kiddos getting ready to go trick or treating.

Our Labor Day weekend.

It started off Wed night, Jeremy and the kids picked me up from work and we headed up to the pond. Wed night was pretty laid back. Just unloaded the Tahoe and got settled in. I hadnt had that many days off in a row for a long time.

We got up Thursday and headed up to Brainerd to get some lunch and groceries. Ouch that hurt, but still had 5 more days off, so I was ok.

Friday was my favorite day by far. Yep those who know me, know what we did....Paul Bunyon land.................................Man do I love this place. I could go there all the time. No its not the same as when we were little and it was in Brainerd. But I still love it. Fun times had by all.
Sat was Halloween at the campgrounds. That was fun. The kids remembered to grab Izzy's ballerina outfit that she wanted to wear. But half was up told me that they didnt bring Jacks. However, he said he wanted to be a mummy. THAT we could work with and that we did. The big kids decided that it was time to pack it in for trick or treating. But most of the people at the camp ground gave them candy anyway, so they were happy.
Sunday, well Sunday it was hot. So there were two trips to the pool and lots of Rummy 500 played. But still all in all a very fun day.
Monday, well that was sad. Time to go home. We were on the road by 9:30am a new record for the Bakers. But with school starting the next day it was time to get home and get everyone ready. Lots to look forward to coming home.............................thats another post.

First timer

Well as I check up on the people I know blogging, and those I dont. I find that I am quite addicted to this blogging thing. So I just decided that I would join in and let people know what is happening at the Baker Ranch. So here goes the first of the blogs.
